Rosé Spritzer Recipe

Rosé Spritzers are comically easy to make. Equal parts rosé and sparkling water. Of course, you can adjust the proportions to your taste. I’m a big fan of using berry flavored sparkling water to enhance the fruitiness in the rosé. If you’re using a dry rosé, you can opt to use Sprite or ginger ale for some sweetness. The fun with a rosé spritzer is the garnishes. Raspberries, cherries, herbs, or even cranberries add a nice flair to this easy wine cocktail.

Rosé Spritzer

A rosé spritzer has endless possibilities. All you need is some kind of rosé wine and some kind of bubbles. Now, are those bubbles Sprite, La Croix in your favorite berry flavor, or San Pellegrino? Well that's up to you. Clearly this is the perfect summer wine cocktail BUT if you throw in a splash of cranberry juice, well now it's the perfect holiday cocktail, too. A rosé spritzer is another great option for leftover rosé wine.

  • 100 ml  Rosé wine
  • 100 ml Sparkling water ((La Croix, Pellegrino, or even Sprite works, too))
  1. Add rosé to a glass full of ice

  2. Top with sparkling beverage of your choice.

  3. Quick stir. (Optional garnish with strawberries, raspberries, orange, or lemon wedge)

Rose Spritzer

Is a rose spritzer healthy?

Healthy is subjective but rose spritzers made with sparkling water are low in calories.

What does spritzer mean?

Spritzer implies the cocktail is bubbly. You can make a spritzer with Moscato, white port, or any wine really.

Can you make a batch of rose spritzers ahead of time?

I would not recommend this because the sparkling water will lose carbonation.
